Pinpoint AV started as a concept called Guardian Technology Services in late 2005.
Founders Dave Anderson and Mike Markus realized the need for technology support that went beyond the sale of equipment. Both were experts in the audio and video field and began laying the groundwork for a company that focused on the customer’s needs rather than on selling equipment.
In July 2006, the plans became reality as the company was launched. First customers included companies and organizations needing help upgrading or keeping their AV systems working properly. Expert technical services along with an emphasis on building relationships helped the company grow.
2007 brought the need for a name that more closely defined the company’s work, so Guardian Technology Services became Pinpoint AV, LLC. A new logo was created, but the mission remained the same.
